Have Ya Joined JewelMint Yet??

I know I've already blogged about Kate Bosworth's jewelry club JewelMint, but I'm still loving it! I've been a member since March and have been 100% satisfied with my membership. For those of you who haven't joined yet and want to know what type of jewelry you can expect, here are three of my purchases:

Sweetheart Ring

This is the first piece of jewelry I ordered from the site. I think it's really unique. I love that it looks like two separate bands being held together by the heart and the little rhinestone details are so unexpected.

Versailles Earrings

I missed out on these gorgeous earrings the first time they were released, but thankfully the website brought them back last week due to popular demand. I have an all lace, cream, one-shoulder dress that was made to be paired with these earrings!

Metal Mosaic Ring

I'm a sucker for a good statement ring. This picture doesn't really do it justice, it's truly a wearable piece of modern art. I love the drama of the squares' varying heights and how it looks handmade.

P.S. - The boxes the jewelry come in are almost as pretty as the jewelry!

**I looked around the web for a coupon code you all could use & I'm pretty sure "WELCOME50" should still work for 50% your first purchase.

Freshen Up Your Style With JewelMint

Celeb-endorsed online shopping clubs are quickly becoming all the rage and while Kim Kardashian may have started it all with ShoeDazzle, Kate Bosworth is jumping on the bandwagon with her jewelry of the month society, JewelMint.

Started by Kate & her stylist Cher Coulter, the members-only site is filled with fun & funky earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets all priced at $29.99*. Here's a screen cap of my current showroom:

This is the third shopping club I've joined & I'm actually saving money! I've cut back my "in-person" shopping trips & limited myself to my beauty samples from Birchbox, a pair of shoes or a handbag from ShoeDazzle & a piece of jewelry from JewelMint. My total for the month is $80 -- I used to spend that in one store! Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE to go shopping, but I love getting pretty things in the mail every month even more!

Love Samples? Join The Club!

I read about birchbox.com in a magazine the other day and couldn't wait to get on the computer to check it out. A club that delivers beauty samples to it's members every month? Count me in! Their motto is "Discover what you love and buy with confidence," which has been a personal shopping mantra of mine ever since the Great Foundation Debacle of 2002. (I really wish someone had told me that MAC foundations break you out before I spent $40 on one!)

Not only do I love samples because of their adorable, purse-friendly size, I love them because you get to try before you buy! Clearly, the people at Birchbox feel the same way. For just $10/month, you get to test-drive 4 to 5 beauty samples and if you decide to buy the full size product(s) from their site, you earn points towards further purchases. No more hounding the clerk at Sephora for a trial size of something you're unsure about, just check your mailbox!

Here are just some of the brands they carry:

Bare Minerals

Korres

Kiehls

Nars

Benefit

Oscar Blandi

Stila

Too Faced

Phyto

Show Your Team Pride with ThatsMyShirt.com!

I may not be the most loyal of football fans (my family thinks I'm a Patriots girl, while my boyfriend prefers me in Packers colors), but I love to show my support through fashion. After all, a fashionista will find any excuse to dress the part.

While searching for "cute football tees", I stumbled upon thatsmyshirt.com and found dozens of adorable NFL tops and hoodies!
Here are some of my favorites:

Who will you be cheering for this season? And, more importantly, what will you be wearing??

A Dress A Day With... Missguided.co.uk!

Thanks to a fellow blogger La Petite Fashionista, I have disovered the British clothing range, Missguided. (Why do all things awesome have to be in the UK??) The store offers everything from crazy printed leggings to sequined blazers, with loads of adorable dresses, tops and skirts in between. It reminds me of a more chic Forever 21.

The prices are very reasonable and they ship to the states! Only problem is, the exchange rate* is NOT in our favor at the moment and they only go up to a US size 12. Jason and I are taking our honeymoon in London next year, so hopefully I'll have dropped a few sizes by then and the exchange rate will tip in my favor! ::crosses fingers::

I compiled a week's worth of their cutest dresses for your viewing pleasure.

*For example, a £10 tank top would cost you $16.38 and the £15.95 shipping rate is $26.13.

Spotlight: My Favorite Websites

I found out about the most amazing website today! It's called Hautelook and it's basically a deal-finding website that holds 72 hour sales from the best brands! Their motto is "Friends Don't Let Friends Pay Retail," so I'm sharing the site with my fellow bargain-loving ladies!

Right now they're offering 7 different sales, but the best of all is definitely STILA. They're having a 50% blowout on some of their best products! Including their 24K lip glosses and Barbie paint cans! Items only remain in your shopping cart for 15 minutes, so you have to shop fast, but it's totally worth it!

They'll also be having a KORRES sale starting on the 21st at 8AM PST.

Weekly Spotlight: My Favorite Websites

So my idea for a "weekly" website tip is turning into more of a "monthly" thing...

This month I'm spotlighting GirlProps.com! I don't order from them as much as I used to, but they're a great place to find cute jewelry at super low prices. They always send their items in a cute zebra print gift bag with matching tissue paper! Here's a few of my favorites (nothing below costs more than $9.99):

MakeupAlley.com

Through watching the beauty videos on YouTube, I've learned about a website where you can swap makeup with other users. Say you buy a lipstick and realize the color is all wrong for you once you get home and try it out. On Makeup Alley, you can list your lipstick by brand and shade and if someone wants it, they can trade you for something they have. If they don't have a product you want, you don't have to trade with them. It's as simple as that! I've heard stories of people not fulfilling their end of the bargain and not sending stuff, but that's the risk you take when using the site. It works on the honor system, meaning that Makeup Alley can't do anything about users being shady like that. I've listed some stuff and I'm waiting for someone to want to trade with me. I also started a wish list so other users can see what I'm looking for. It's a really cool idea for makeup lovers on a budget!

Weekly Spotlight: My Favorite Websites

I'm going to try to spotlight one of my favorite websites every week for you guys. I LIVE for online shopping (well, after my family, my friends and traveling). I love discovering a new site with unique products, especially if the prices are good. I figured my readers would be interested in checking out some online stores that they might not have heard about yet. First up is FredFlare. They stock everything adorable from tees, sunglasses and jewelry to cook books and wrapping paper! They're constantly adding new items and the prices are pretty reasonable. The two fabulous guys behind the company (based out of NYC) also have a "supes cute" video podcast on iTunes. Below are some of my favorite items:
