I need some help girls. I'm on the hunt for a miracle-working clarifying shampoo. My scalp feels like it's trapped under a layer of angry buildup! My hair gets greasy soooo fast after I wash/style it and I need something to get all the excess gunk out so I can start fresh again. I don't really use any styling products, but I still seem to have problems in this department. HELP!!!
So far, I've only found 2 highly recommended options. The first comes from the uber-beautiful Zoe. She recently blogged about the Expert Build Up Removal Shampoo from Boots (£2.93) and had fantastic results. She has amazing hair, so I would buy anything she told me to! Only problem? It's a UK-only exclusive, so I'll have to find something available stateside.
Which brings me to my second [and only realistic] option, Frederic Fekkai's Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo ($23). It got rave reviews on Sephora.com, but it's a little pricey. I wouldn't mind paying for it if it solved all of my hair nightmares, but I don't know for sure if it will work.
Any other suggestions/advice???

How To: Neon Pink
Another huge trend this fall will be neon pink. I recommend using the "less is more" approach when it comes to including it in your fall wardrobe.
A cute knitted beret or a fun, girly accessory are a couple of great ways to take this daring trend for a test drive. You could even carry the trend over into your makeup bag with a flirty eye shadow or nail polish. The fashion world is pairing the electric hue with black, so why not try a neon pink tank with a black, high-waisted skirt! You could also spice up your LBD (little black dress, of course) with a pair of sexy, hot pink heels and a matching clutch!
Always remember to have fun with fashion. Don't take it (or yourself) too seriously.

Cheap & Chic: Vanessa Hudgens Style
I'm not exactly a Vanessa Hudgens "fan" per se, but I do love her style. She consistently pulls off the lazy rocker look, while still managing to look feminine and pulled together. I also admire her sexy red carpet choices and would love to raid her closet for designer handbags! Plus, she's super cute, extremely rich and gets to date Zac Efron...so, um ya. Jealous.
Here's how you can copy her style without having to spend a High School Musical star's pay check:

Summer Lovin' [Happened So Fast]

With summer coming to end, I thought I would style a little number in the spirit of the season. I would wear this outfit with a cropped, white cardigan for a romantic lunch date with Jason. We could dine al fresco and people-watch as we sipped mimosas. Afterwards, we'd go for a leisurely stroll and do some shopping. A girl can dream...

Splurge or Spree?
This a new feature I'm adding to my blog called "Splurge or Spree?" The idea is taken from my favorite magazine People Style Watch. Every issue, they show you one luxury beauty item you could indulge in versus a collection of reasonably priced goodies for the same price. Sort of like a "This...Or All This" seen in other magazines.
Up first, Guerlain's Terracotta Mineral Flawless Bronzing Powder from Sephora. Price: $65.
Now, for less than the price of that one bronzer, you could get a foundation, concealer, bronzer/highlighter, eyeshadow trio, eyeliner, mascara, blush, plumping lip gloss & a pair of lashes!
Personally, I love shopping for bargains and typically buy drugstore makeup. That being said, sometimes it pays to choose quality over quantity. It all depends on what works for you and what you're willing to "splurge" on!
What do you splurge on??
