Kelsey - which ones are you considering? that nikon was the best price i could find. i have it in my head that nikon is the way to go...
nikons are better for precision and canons are better for COLOR! depends what you'll be taking more pictures of... people... or nature!
Leah - Thanks for the info! I think I like Nikon DSLRs because every time I see a photo taken with one I'm always shocked at the quality. The D3000 is only (I use that word loosely) around $450 on Walmart.com so I think that's the winner :)
Really want a new camera, too!
