"Ah, the model argument. On one hand, I get it-clothes look better on skinny people, and a model’s job is usually just to be a walking coat hanger anyway. If that’s the way it’s going to be, I think it’s important that it’s clear to people that it’s more fantasy. But if designers and magazines want to reach a more diverse demographic it’s important to have larger models. But I hope that magazines can finally do this without being like “Look! Big IS beautifuL!!!!!!” or having them all naked-like, let them sell some clothes! Plus-size [ads] should be interspersed in regular magazine issues, not just the REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES! ones. I guess the fact that models are so skinny doesn’t *upset* me unless it’s distracting from the clothes. But I do think it should be changed, I mean..that’s a given."
